TPS release day blog hop :)

Welcome to the Lil Perfect match blog hop, if you have arrived here from the amazing Eulanda then you are on the right track, if not then head on over to here and be prepared to be blown away!!

I have used Alice and the Mad Hatter on my card today, they were soooo cool I could not wait to play with them :) I have gone with a black and white image again today, partly because I liked the way my last one came out but mostly because I could not decide on what papers to use and figured b&w would go with anything, lol!
I have glittered my edges and used spica on my image so the card has a nice sparkle.

The next stop on our hop is the fabulous Jane, prepare to be amazed!!
Don't forget to hop all the way and leave a comment for a chance to win an amazing prize!!!

Introducing Gangsta Luca...

Woo Hoo, are you loving our perfect matches? :) Today we are revealing Lil Lad Gangsta Luca... a perfect match with our Lil Fashionette 20's Evie! I have coloured the happy couple with copics (my first black and white image with copics and I am pretty happy with how it came out) and have used one of my much neglected embossing folders. The papers are bits and pieces from my stash. Not much else to say, I kept the card pretty plain as the image was large-ish and I wanted the focus to remain on it.
Make sure you head on over to Tickled Pink Stamps tomorrow for our release day blog hop!!

Sketch time at MDUC

Hello everyone, it's time for a new challenge this week at Magnolia Down Under Challenges and this week it's a sketch challenge, yippi!!
So, what do you think, it's a great sketch with so many possibilities. I use another new Maggie which had not seen ink yet and some basic grey paper I found in my stash. I am not sure what the spotty paper is.

Ok, sorry for the quickly post, this weekend is my boys 3rd birthday (*sigh* my babies are growing up much too fast) and we have family coming around tomorrow (actually, it's today but I am typing this up on Saturday to schedule) so anyways, I have cupcakes to frost :) I hope you all have a great weekend and find some inspiration from this sketch!!

You guessed it, more baby cards

So, more baby cards, I can hear you all sigh from here, honestly, I can! I mostly made these because I saw these new Kaiser papers at me local scrap shop and after resisting the urge to buy them for a couple of weeks I gave in :) I do actually have two pregnant friends who are due in 2 and 4 weeks so I will have a use for some of these very soon. I am thinking the first one will be a girl and the second a boy, but I have been wrong before.
I have used a Stampin' Up stamp from a set called Special Little Someone, this was actually the first set I ever bought.
I have coloured the images with copics and added some sparkle with spica pen. I have glittered the flowers, the edges of the dp and coloured card stock for some extra bling, lol. Everything is from my stash, it was the first card I used these glittered twirly things on on, I bought them months ago to use on xmas cards and never used them, but they looked really cute on the boy card... they might get some more use now :)

Well, I still have a fair bit of this paper left over, guess I will be making more baby cards :D  I do have something special in mind.
I would like to enter these cards into the following challenges:
Paper play challenges - Sparkle galore
Truly Scrumptious - Anything goes

more of the same... sort of

So... I made this card a couple of weeks ago and have just been too lazy... I mean, too busy (yeah, that sounds better, LOL) to post it until now. I am going through kind of a phase, you may have noticed, babies, butterflies, circles, stitching and flowers. Even the layout of my cards has been pretty similar recently, but I guess while it is working for me I wont mess around with it too much. I have used heaps of glimmermist and glitter all over this card but unfortunately it has not shown up in the photo AT ALL!!! soooo frustrating.
I made an easel card, the first one in ages! I seriously can't remember the last time I made one and i used to make them all the time :) also, did ya notice, no kraft! I'm not sure how that happened, bahahaha!!
So, thats my card, I had better go and make dinner, the locals get very unpleasant when they are hungry :)
I would like to enter this card into the following challenges:
A spoon full of sugar - Anything goes
Paperplay Challenges - Sparkles galore
Simon says stamp - Sparkle and shine

Introducing... Luca

Did you all love Lilith Yesterday? Are you excited for some more Lil' Victorian Steampunk goodness?! Today I am pleased to introduce Luca. He's pretty cool, huh?!
I should probably point out now that all my preview cards were made as a set, I have never done this before but as the images were all in the same style it just seemed like agreat opportunity to make a set of cards :) I have stamped Luca onto kraft card with black ink and then coloured him up with black and white pencils. I have seen this technique with prismas and it looks awesome, but I don't have prisma pencils, so I made do with some watercolour pencils that i had in the right colours. Thanks for stopping by today, be sure to head on over the the Tickled Pink Stamps blog to see the rest of the DT's amazing work with this handsome little gentleman and find out how you can win yourself some Tickled Pink goodies!!

Hello, hello, it's ribbon and lace this week at magnolia Down Under Challenges, an easy one for all you maggie lovers I'm sure :) Recently I have been suffering from a severe loss of mojo and as a result have found myself doing more plain and simple cards so this challenge was perfect to push me back into a more girly style of card (I actually tried to channel my inner Kylie for this one by using lots of flowers and stitching on my card, I have a long way to go but it's a start :) I am sure I have already told Kylie I want to be her when I grow up, LOL!) The butterfly die is my new favourite toy, I have used it probably 5 times in the last 2 days :) I just love butterflies!
This card is actually for mothers day, I made 2 at the same time, one for my mother and one for my mother-in-law. I find it easier to make identical cards for them because them hubby and I don't have to decide which mum gets which card, that sort of thing can result in me making 4 or 5 cards because I am never happy with the one I end up with, bahahaha!!
Ok, thanks for looking at my card today and I hope you can join us this week at MDUC :)
I would like to enter this card into the following challenges:
7 kids college fund - April showers bring may flowers
The stamping boutique - Winged things
Copic Oz - Celebrate women
Paper Issues - word to your mutha (mothers day projects)
Paper Sundaes - Sunday bar (I have die cuts, yellow and sparkle which totally does not photograph but I assure you there is glitter and glimmer mist... honest! LOL!!)
