Spreading some Christmas joy

Did you know there are only 360 sleeps 'til Christmas?! Hahahaha!! I could lie and say I waited to post this car to prolong the joy of Christmas... but I wold be lying,I just did not get around to doing it any sooner.
I have used Lil Christmas Lolita Evie, don't you just love that little hat, lol, from TPS as is the sentiment and matching die (very cool). The papers are from a 6x6 Kaiser pad, one of the Christmas ones.
I left the layout pretty simple and have inked and glittered all my edges.

I would like to enter this card over at:
Paper Sundaes - cut it out
7 kids challenge blog - Anything goes
A spoon full of sugar - Christmas card
Mad for markers - Anything goes

More wedding pictures...

I received the photos one of my cousin took of our wedding on Christmas day and so I now have something to show you... finally!!
This is my totally awesome wedding car (owned by the best man, pretty convenient, huh! lol) A photo of Levi in his tiny suit looking adorable (he screamed when he saw a camera that day so as a result we don't have many photos of him mid tantrum)

One of all of us, Dallas loved my flowers and would not stop poking them, hahaha. The photographer got a shot of all of us actually smiling in this pose, the only one of us all together on the day.

This pic was taken before the last one while we were waiting for Levi to decide to join us, there is actually a few where you can tell we are frantically waving out arms and trying to call him over, bahaha!!

This photo, when I first saw it, melted my heart!! He just looks so darn angelic, I can't get over how perfect this photo is!

One of the happy couple out in the sun, did I mention it was the only Saturday down here that it did not rain all month. I think the local cricket clubs may have only played 2 matches before Christmas because every Saturday has been a wet one.

Here is Levi, during the ceremony... I had no idea he was even down there playing cars! I do remember at one point him lying down on the floor at the end of the aisle, what a dag, it did make us laugh though :)

And last of all our wedding cake! One of my bridesmaids has been emailing pictures of it to everyone saying she wants it for her wedding cake too, lol!
I hope you liked my little piccies, I do have a card to show you, a Christmas card I did not get around to showing before Christmas... whoops! So hopefully I will get a chance to post that later today :)

Welcome again to another Magnolia Down Under Challenge, this week we want to see you use red, brown and cream on your cards. Usually I have trouble with colour combo's, for some reason I just have a lot of difficulty getting them to work for me but this one really came together, it's the perfect combo for Christmas!! I have used the chair (I think it's called Santa's wishing chair... or something like that) from this years Christmas collection and Santa's little helper Tilda from the 2009 range. She is popped up on foam adhesive for a little dimension. All my colouring is with my copics, the papers are from Kaiser. I have glimmer misted my flowers (I think you can actually see it on the red one) and the swirly chipboard thingy (I am loving the glimmer mist on chipboard, the woman mentioned it at my local shop the other week when I was buying more glimmer mist and it just gives it such a lovely shimmer)
Ok, sorry but this is going to be a quickie post, I am scheduling it last night :) and it is waaaaaaaay past my bed time and I have been having too many late nights lately, and another big day tomorrow... but that's the thing about Christmas I guess, so much festiveness crammed into too little time, but I still love it!!
So, please come and play with us over at MDUC this week, I can't wait to see what you create with this combo :)

I'm dreaming of a Tickled Pink Christmas...

Well, it's that time again, time for another Tickled Pink sketch, and this one is truly fabulous!!! Didn't I tell you it was great, think of the possibilities, I was halfway done with my card and about to embellish the hell out of it, as you do (or I certainly do, lol), when I stopped and thought 'hey, I really like it just like this' so, this is probably my first ever clean and simple (for me, anyways) card. I guess it just proves how much I loved this sketch, I did not want to hide it away under flowers and anything else I could get my hands on, bahaha!
I have used Willow from the Lil Christmas range (get yours HERE) and blown up and cropped her head, the green and spotty red papers are kaiser Christmas papers I have used kraft card stock (yup, I'm obsessed, it's officially on EVERYTHING now, lol) and everything else is from the stash. I have glittered around all my edges for a bit of festive sparkle and added a bit to the star on the tree too!

Now for some sad news, this will be the last challenge at Tickled Pink Stamps Monthly Challenges, but don't be too upset, next month we are launching a new weekly challenge HERE... head on over now to become a follower and maybe win some fabulous prizes while your at it!!!

Tilda and Edwin are decorating up a storm!

Hi everyone, did ya miss me?! Well I'm back now, and whats more I even have some cards to show you!! Today I am showing you the Xmas cards I have made for my mother and mother-in-law, to be fair I made them both the same.
I fell in love with this Edwin stamp, i mean, don't we ALL have this problem at xmas time? I am not as bad with lights as I used to be, I have memories as a child of untangling lights (although my helping was probably counter productive) and then having to wait patiently as my parents tested them to make sure they were all working (which they never were) and then waiting as they had to go through and test EVERY globe until they found the 1 that had died, it was sooo painful because from as far back as I can remember I have LOVED to decorate the tree, it is my favourite thing to do at xmas, hell, probably me favourite thing to do all year, I get so excited when it gets close to tree time and I start to see a few in the windows of houses. Hehehe, funny story, I am convinced I have xmas induced ADD or something, it was my wedding day and I was in the car with 2 of my bridesmaids on the way back to my place after having out hair and make-up done and I was chatting away a mile a minute about something when we drove past a house with a tree in the window and I stopped mid sentence and yelled "xmas tree!!!" needless to say I frightened the heck out of the other girls, it's a good thing they already knew I was nuts, lol! They were just surprised I could focus on anything else considering I was getting married in a few hours :) So yeah, I like xmas just a little bit, hehehe. Sorry about the waffle, I just thought of that little story and it made me giggle so I thought I would share.
So anyways... I figured there little guys represented hubby and I well at xmas time, me decorating my tree and him putting up the lights on the house (yeah, we do that too, I will try and get some pis of it this year for you) Now all I need is a stamp of too cheeky little monkeys running around and touching everything!! Apparently Buzz Lightyear likes to venture amongst the branches of my tree in search of adventure, I am not impressed! So, the card, finally I hear you all say... The papers were actually from a pack I picked up in Kmart, and the ribbon too I think. Cardstock is Kraft and some green I had in the stash. The flowers are from iamroses.com, the chipboard 25 ornament and tiny bells are from my local scrapbooking shop (I so have to go back and get more!) and the Maggie and pearls are from TPS.
I have stitched my edges and inked them and then glimmer misted all my DP and the 25 ornament with iridescent gold... it's soooo pretty and sparkly IRL, I love that stuff!
Sooo... I think thats everything, I am going to pop this into a few challenges, just because I can :P
ABC christmas challenge - Y is for yuletide (I went with a red and green theme)
Bizzy Bec's store - christmas theme
Dutch dare - christmas card, tag or ornament
Just Magnolia - Anything goes... with sparkle
Magnolia stamp lovers - Ornament

Thanks for sticking with me through my ranting, hehehe, and congrats on making it to the end of the post LOL!!
