Only 70 sleeps until Christmas!!!

Hello all, just a quickie today before I start dinner preparations (Mmmmmm, fajitas!). I inked up an adorable Santa Edwin and made Christmas cards for by boys kinder teachers. Because these were the first cards I have made in AGES I started early and surprisingly got the finished rather quickly, it was actually quite lovely how these cards came nicely together for me :) I made 3, they are identical, and here he is...

thanks for taking the time to look at my card today, I am going to enter it into the following:

K is for Kisa!

Here is a little something I made for my little girls door. I picked up these butterflies ages ago just because they were pretty and they ended up being the perfect finishing touch :)
The papers are some old Kaisercraft ones I had and I just love the designs.
Sorry for the crappy photos, I just could not get a decently lit picture... oh well, there is only a few more days of winter left so the sun will soon be shining, yippi! On a similar note, I am already getting a little psyched for Christmas, I know it's early and i can hear the groans from everyone already but fore some reason over the last week or so I have started really looking forward to it. I actually got out my copics yesterday and started colouring up some images for Christmas cards for the boys kinder teachers. I now have 3 cute little Santa Edwins sitting on my desk all coloured up and waiting for me to use them.

Wedding Bells

Well, this is, I think, the only card I have made in maybe 2 years (wow, I can't believe it has been that long). it was for my cousins wedding around 18 months ago.

I have used Tickled Pink Steampunk Evie and Birthday Luca as I thought they would make an adorable couple.

And here is the full image once you open the front window thingy.

I closer look at the happy couple

And this is the card fully opened up with a panel for writing and a little pocket on the right.

I am entering this card in the following challenges:

Fussy and Fancy Friday - More than one fold

A little something I made earlier

So, I kind of fell off the face of the earth for a while there but I have finally got myself organised and I think I might even get back to crafting, we will see how I go :) Would you like to see what I have been up to since I have been gone.....
Ta-Da!! I had another baby. Her name is Kisa Alexandra. This is her when she was a few days old.

... and at 3 months

... and a few days ago at 6 months ago with her very proud big brothers. We are all completely in love, she is so fabulous and easy going.
So, i hope to be back soon with some crafty stuff. I have not made and cards in AGES, but i have a few crafty bits and pieces to show you :)

Release day at TPS!!

Today is release day for out Lil' Christmas range and sentiment set at Tickled Pink Stamps.
I just thought I would pop a little project up that I whipped up the other day using sentiments from the sentiment set. I have used the magnolia tag die and large spellbinders tag die, inked the edges with distress ink and a little gold ink and then finished them with a ribbon (some I left ivory, others I coloured with distress inks) I think these would be fabulous as gift tags or added to cards or other craft projects... I have not decided what yet :)

Introducing Lylah

Today I have for you Lil' Christmas Lylah from Tickled Pink Stamps, isn't she fabulous, I imagined her strolling through the snow in the long flowing cape... any excuse to use snow flakes really, lol!! So, I have made another little wall hanging, this one is a bit larger than the last, probably closer to 8 inches.
I had really intended to make a card today when I sat down with this image but, well... sometimes these things have a mind of their own I think.
Make sure you check out the DT ladies fabulous work here... and stick around for more previews!!

Introducing Ivy

Hi everyone, just a quickie from me today, I am running sooo behind, I went to take pics today and my camera would not work, I nearly died (yeah, I tend to overreact) I changed the batteries and all was good again :) the kids have just wandered into the study covered in chalk dust and we have to all be cleaned and changed and ready to leave the house in 27 minutes... I might make it, lol!!
Anyways, today I am previewing Ivy from Tickled Pink Stamps new Christmas collection, I am loving all their vintage goodness. I was going to make a card and at some point along the way it turned into a wall hanging. It is about 6 inches across, the papers are all last years Christmas papers from Kaisercraft (I bought heaps of it last year and hardly got around to using any of it and most of it is in delicious deep colours, perfect with these vintage inspired images)  I have used tea to dye my doily following Kellies instructions here (thanks boss lady, it's a fabulous technique) The sentiment and frame are from the Vintage Christmas Sentiments set. The flowers and bits and bobs are all from my stash. I have inked and glittered my edges and I think that is just about everything :)
I have 18 minutes to go and two very impatient children, LOL!! Make sure you head on over hear and check out the DT inspirational work!!

Introducing Mummie Christina

Hello everyone, welcome to our Lil Haunts 2 previews... ummm, you will have to forgive me, my mind is elsewhere, I was just gazing longingly at the picture in my last post (ok, it was the last one when I was typing this up, I seem to have gotten myself all in a bother and wrote these posts up in the wrong order... I wonder what could have caused that :-P.... Oh damn, I keep going back to look again, what is wrong with me!!!) I am off to have a cold shower in a minute, why do I do these things to myself, LOL!!!
This little darlin' is Mummie Christina, I have coloured her up with my new W shades of copics, I got them a few weeks ago and boy have they gotten a workout!

TPS release hop

Sorry ladies, I have been sick this week and did not manage to finish my card for today's hop so I will direct you through (I am picturing myself like one of those people with the torches directing the planes around on the runway, do they still have those?) from the amazing Debalicious to the fabulous Jane!! Hope you enjoy the hop :)

Introducing Lil Little Kellita...

Have you been enjoying out new release, illustrated by Christina Dee, over at Tickled Pink Stamps? I am loving them, they are soooo cute! Today we have Lil Little Kellita...
The sentiment is also a new release from TPS by the fabulous Cheri.
I apologize for the dodgy pic, it looked fine to me before but now it is kinda blurry, maybe my eyes are playing tricks on me, i am coming down with a cold (generously given to me from my snot encrusted children) so maybe it's messing up my vision too?!
I hope you can all join us for the release hop to celebrate these awesome new stamps :)

Some spooning in the kitchen

This week at MDUC we are looking for your "in the kitchen" creations... so of course I had to bring out this gorgeous little maggie for the occasion :)
... and i made a little pennant thingy. I got the idea for this project from here... but my banner cane out a little to big for my spoon, or my spoon was a little too bit got my banner, lol, either way I ended up with this.

Not what I planned but I still like it, when my boys saw it they jumped up and down yelling spoon excitedly and hubby just laughed.
I hope you can all join us this week for a super fun challenge and give your old stamps some love :)

Introducing Lil' Little Luca

... phew, that's a bit of as mouthful, try saying that 3 times fast... Lil' Little Luca, Lil' Little...

Hehehe, back to the point, I would love for you all to meet Luca, isn't he adorable, don't you just want to pinch his cheeks (I do that all the time to my boys, the have delicious little chubby cheeks, oops, I'm getting off topic again *blushes*)
I have been feeling a bit lacking with my mojo lately, I will blame my stoopid cold, lol, so anyways, I thought I would do something a little bit different and sexy up a chocolate bar (hmmm, lets pretend that it is possible to make chocolate MORE sexy and continue...) I thought it would make a cute little thank you gift, especially with this awesome sentiment, also coming soon to a TPS near you, it was kind of what gave me the idea, that and the fact I was munching my way through a block of chocolate at the time...
And here is the sleeve slid down a little to allow access to the chocolaty goodness within (well, there would be if I did not polish off the block while I was finishing this) *oops* but that's ok because I can just slip it off and put it on a fresh one.

I loved these gorgeous papers so much I made 2 cards to show you today. I thought they would be perfect for gate fold cards because you can see the fabulous details on the papers when you open the cards up
Here is a close up of the left panel and the right one when the card is open (I know it's not right to have favorites, hehehe, but I think this piece was my favorite of the collection, it was definitely the first one I used!) Don't you just love that victorian lady down the bottom.

And again the inside panel. After I made this card I thought that this would be a lovely paper for a christmas card with the deep, rich reds and greens... I only wish I had thought of it first, bahahah!! (sorry about the fuzzies, not sure what happened there)
