It's Easter time at MDUC

Welcome to another Maggie challenge at MDUC, this week we are clelbrating Easter with our creations. I have used 3 stamps from the butterfly dreams collection, oh, actually it's 4 (I forgot about the sentiment, lol!) The papers are from the stash, I have had them for a couple of years, think they are Heidi Grace... or something like that :)

It's that time of the month again, time for another Tickled Pink Stamps release blog hop!! Introducing Pippa!!

Welcome to another release at Tickled Pink Stamps, and boy do we have an extra special surprise in store for you this month... a brand new range of stamps, the Pinkettes, and these little gals are, as Kellie would say, cute to boot!! I thought they were adorable when I first laid eyes on them and then totally fell in love when I coloured them up. They were a dream to colour, and so much fun, and the image just kinda sprang into life and made me love them, hehehe :) Today's little sweetheart is Pippa, I think she would make a perfect addition to a mothers day card with her bouquet of flowers. The sentiment is from a new thank you set by the fabulous Ann Vento, it has heaps of different sentiment stamps for any occasion you need to thank someone. They will be released, along with the Pinkettes, on the 11th!! A wheelbarrow of love for mothers day!

So I made this card the other week (yeah, I was really lazy and did not take a photo of it until I had to photograph a heap of DT stuff the other day) just because I thought it would be fun to make a card using a Magnolia background image on it's own. I thought it would make a cute mothers day card, especially with those gorgeous Tulips spilling out :)

Most of the stuff is from the stash, the papers are Magnolia and I think these and the charm were purchased from TPS ages ago. I have inked my edged in vintage photo and tea dye distress inks and glittered them. The border punch is MS and the scallop circle is from Stampin' Up. I have coloured my image in copics and the sentiment is raised on foam adhesive for some dimension.... I guess that is everything, so here it is...I guess it is kinda plain and simple for me, no flowers, lol.

Metal mania at MDUC

It's metal mania this week at Magnolia Down Under Challenges!! Pop on over to here and see the amazing ways the DT have Incorporated metal into their designs, you are sure to be inspired :) i have used a butterfly charm and heart shaped bail on my card. The Tilda and background stamp are from last years fairytale collection, purchased from TPS, along with the charm and doohickey. I just loved this entire collection when it was released and bought so many stamps that they have had hardly and use :( so I thought I would bring them back out for some love, lol! Too many stamps and not enough time to enjoy them all, it's such a shame but I guess it could be worse, I could have not enough stamps...!! Bahahaha! Anyways, I have to keep this short, I am typing this up late Saturday morning, I have to scoot and get lunch made and then start getting ready for a wedding, I hope it warms up because I had planned on wearing a dress.
