This week at MDUC we want to see some distressing on your cards. Now, I have not been doing all that much distressing lately so this was fun :) My card is a pretty simple one but I was dying to use my new Doohickey, I bought this one as soon as I saw it, I was totally in love, and this was the first time I have used it, terrible isn't it, lol! I actually thought I had lost it because it had been sitting on the same spot on my desk for months (like I said, terrible) and when I wanted to FINALLY use it, it was gone (probably ran away because it was feeling neglected) The trouble was I had stupidly cleaned up my desk (and then pretty much undid all my hard work and messed it up again looking for this die *sigh*) anyways... after much swearing and about an hour and 45 min of searching I found it... in the second place I looked... obviously I did not look too thoroughly the first time round.
So, I have whipped out my October Afternoon papers (I am totally in love with OA papers lately, I have grand ideas about making an album with their seaside papers... we will see how that goes :D ) Everything is glimmer misted (in antique gold), inked (in vintage photo) and then distressed. I thought this Tilda with her basket of flowers would be perfect with the fence, I think this is one of my all time favourite Tilda stamps, she just looks so sweet.
I hope you can all play along with us this week at MDUC and get thoroughly distressed, LOL!!
