Tickled pink on the brink

This week Tickled Pink Stamps is sponsoring the Haunted Design House Challenge and the challenge couldn't be any more appropriate for the pink ladies, it's Pink on the Brink, something edgy with pink
So, I'm not sure if I managed the edgy bit but I have used pink :D I have used the gorgeous Kellita (I love playing with these digi babes, you can get a whole new look using just a head shot rather than the whole body, thanks for the inspiration Amy!) The sentiment is from a soon to be released set from TPS. You can't tell but I have glimmer misted everything black on this card (I am in love with this stuff!!) So... the doily, mesh ribbon, Doohickey die, charm, Kellita image and sentiment are all from Tickled Pink Stamps! I love my Doohickey, this lace shape is sooooo pretty, I have used it on several things already. The leaves are a sizix die from Stampin' up and the flower I made myself.

Tilda is Tickled Pink to get sketchy over at MDUC

Hello, hello, I am thrilled today to be bringing you the new sketch from Tickled Pink Stamps Monthly Challenges and this weeks challenge over at MDUC of an easel card.
Here is our fabulous sketch, so much fun to create something round: And here is my card using Tilda blowing bubbles and the castle window both from Magnolias Fairytale collection.

I have used crystal effects on Tilda's wings and bubbles. The flowers are from I am roses and the crystal sprays were a wonderful find in my local spotlight store. The image is coloured with copics and I have made a big bow out of mesh ribbon to hold the easel up. The papers are also Magnolia and were purchased, along with the stamps, from TPS.

To celebrate the Pink Ladies have teamed up with the Lil Lolita Boutique to celebrate and launch a new challenge... Bling it!
I decided to go for, what I think Kellie once refered to as 'vintage bling' and used a flourish with a bling pearl flourish, available at Tickled Pink Stamps, and added a shiny charm, also from TPS, some gold stamped swirls around the edge of my paper and I used a gold gel pen on her purse and buttons all for that touch of metallic bling. So, there you have it, bling without a single crystal or speck of glitter in sight, and it was tough to not use those things because they totally scream bling to me, but I did not think they suited the lovely 30's Lylah, and pearls were more her thing (they are still really shiny so I hope they count, lol) The tassel ribbon and Magnolia papers are also from TPS

HAPPY BIRTHDAY WAFFLES!!!

It’s our fabulous boss lady aka Kellie Winnell’s Birthday! We are having a the most fun surprise hop for her, and believe me when I say SURPRISE we have Such a great surprise up our sleeves for this amazingly talented kind hearted, generous boss/friend of ours.

The pink ladies, including international have joined forces with lil Lolita boutique for this fun birthday hop day!

The Gorgeous Debbie had an idea and approached Christine the designer of our gorgeous Lolitas, and on the sly asked if she would design a KELLITA! Then Debbie let Kristy in on the secret and asked if she would like to help, of course Princess said yes! So together Debbie & Kristy sent pictures and ideas of what Kellita should look like....... So lets begin the hop so you can see our fabulous Kellita Birthday cards and join us in wishing Kellie a very happy birthday!

Now here is the card I made with the gorgeous Kellita. I straight away knew what papers I was gong to use and had her all coloured up to match, but then getting her on a card took weeks... I just had no idea what I was going to do, just that is had to be something a little bit special.

I have tried making these cards twice before, the first time was for my mums birthday but it was terrible and it got scrapped before I had really got anywhere with it. The second time I finished it but HATED it! This one I am actually really happy with, I guess that's because it's bright and colourful with flowers and bling and butterflies :) and it came together surprisingly quickly once I figured out what I was going to do!
